Up for trades is a rare 1953 Rolex Oyster model 6282 in superb condition.
1953 was the year when the Sir Edmund Hillary became the first man to summit Mount Everest along with expedition partner Tenzing Norgay. This 6282 is most likely what inspired the Rolex Explorer model.
Watch is all original with a rare brevet crown and case and very rare '61' end links expendable rivet bracelet. I've seen this bracelet sell for over $1500us alone with the '61' end links that came with the 50s and 60s cosmograph and sub.
I'm interested in trading for a Datejust or ??
