Looking to sell a very rare Omega Constellation Grand Luxe from 1958.

This is one of the rarest Constellation models, featuring a solid 18k gold stepped dial with arrowhead markers and fancy lug protectors.

Inside is a chronometer rated cal. 505 automatic movement. The watch was recently serviced; a photo from the service is attached. Service receipt will be included with the sale.

Serial number: 16,xxx,xxx dates the watch to ~1958

The watch features a heavy solid 18k gold case, with a sharp observatory on the caseback.

Omega signed crown.

Please note that the dial has been professionally refinished to a very high standard.

Examples with dials that have not been refinished sell for upwards of $10k. I am asking $5,250 for this very rare piece, which is not far from the scrap gold value. The watch with movement weighs approximately 42 grams of which ~30g would be 18k gold as the movement weighs approximately 12 grams (solid gold dial weighs approximately 4g).

This is the first grand luxe that has been offered for sale on CWC and I suspect it will be quite some time before another one pops up for sale.

Shipping from Vancouver.

Watch head only.

No trades.
