A very fine tribute to Jack Heuer. From TAG's website:
"A spectacular chronograph to honour a pioneer. Classic stopwatches and car racing inspire the remarkable two-part construction of this timepiece. The 45mm case in fine-brushed titanium carbide coated titanium rests on a futuristic cage, in fine-brushed steel. On the dark grey flange, a tachymeter and pulsometer are paired to capture all the pulse-quickening thrill of speed. Taking its design from the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrogirder, winner of the "Aiguille d'Or" at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2012, the asymmetrical case rises at an angle at the top, towards crown and chronograph pushers. The smoked sapphire caseback puts the daring in-house Calibre 1887 movement on display and is embellished with Jack Heuer’s coat of arms and signature. In every way, this chronograph is a mould-breaking tribute to a unique Heuer pioneer."
