Hi all,
Today I am putting up my Royal Canadian Navy issued Tudor 79090 Submariner from 1989. I acquired this piece from the chief clearance diver directly and I had it fully serviced by Ashton Tracy who is the premier vintage Rolex watchmaker in Canada a month ago. This is from the last batch of Tudor Submariners supplied to the Royal Canadian Navy clearance divers from Rolex Canada. I will include all of the service parts replaced, service papers, original photos of the diver and the watch, as well as his medic logbook. The watch is currently running beautifully and the dial is immaculate. The bezel and case has ideal patina for an issued piece. I can also provide the full details on the diver and his experiences to the buyer. It will be sold on an 16mm Royal Canadian Navy Issued black single pass nylon strap.
Watch Details:
Diameter - 39mm
Lug to Lug - 47mm
Movement - ETA 2824 modified by Tudor and professionally serviced in September.
Serial - B32XXXX (the correct serial range for 79090 RCN Milsubs).
I am looking for $15,000 shipped which is less than what the last example sold for from Craft and Tailored (even though that example had less documentation and provenance). The only trades I would be interested in are for a Zenith El Primero A384 revival, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe 38mm, or Omega Ploprof (both modern and vintage).
