2nd owner Bulova 96B251 Special Edition Moon Chronograph Watch including tags (and plastic tag on watch back), both straps, extra Zulu strap, strap change tool, manual, inner and outer box.
$550 plus shipping or reasonable best offer. No trades at this time. Watch is located on South Vancouver Island if you would like to view it in person. Email transfer preferred.
Reason for sale: Trimming some of my collection of watches to raise funds for a "grail" watch I would like to buy. As a result, no trades at this time.
Condition: I purchased the watch as a second owner late July 2016. Watch is in very good to excellent condition with a few very tiny nicks that are hard to see. The watch is very accurate since it is a high accuracy quartz and all components run flawlessly. I have worn the watch approximately 2 dozen times and it looked essentially unused as far as I could tell when I bought it - except for the tiny nicks mentioned above.
There are lots of really good reviews on the web and I don't doubt this will be a future collectible watch that would be great on its own or along side one of the Omega moon watches. The original Bulova moon watch has an interesting history in its own right. This watch has a lot of interesting features for the price range. For example, the inner bezel and the unique chronograph feature.
Movement: High Performance Quartz operating at 262 kHz
Case diameter: 45 mm
Case thickness: 13.5 mm
Water resistance: 50M
Lume: Super-luminous hands and markers
Case and housing: 316L surgical-grade stainless steel case in silver-tone with black dial
Features: Anti-reflective sapphire glass, tachymeter and calendar, two straps
Thanks for looking and please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
