I have decided to thin out my collection of 30 years, and will post to our Canadian community here before I put them up on the larger US and Global sites. Hoping we can keep some of these within the CWC family.
This Daytona is from 2002, purchased new by me. It has the gorgeous flat black Paul Newman dial that just makes this watch special. I have worn this in rotation with my other watches, and would get worn 1 or 2 days a month. It has never been polished, and is in fabulous condition. If you look closely, there are tiny fine hairlines, but absolutely no dings or desk dives. All the edges are as sharp as they can be!
This is a true collectors set, as it comes with all papers, original box, hologram and green hang tags, bezel protector, polishing cloth and I even saved the little protective stickers that came with the watch.
The original Rolex leather strap is in good, the only reason why I don't label it as excellent is because the inside lining has developed a crack. This cannot be seen or felt while wearing the watch, however it is there and can be seen in the photos.
I have plenty of references on rolexforums and even from our CWC community.
The price is $39,000 CDN plus shipping. This is the lowest price you will find for this specific Daytona, and I can guarantee you it will not come close to the condition of my watch and wouldn't be a complete set.
