TLDR: This is an extremely rare example of early Chopard L.U.C. entry into high end luxury sport watches and is truly a high horology luxury sport watch in every regard.

Model Information: Information on this model is limited and finding such an example in such a condition and on bracelet is extraordinarily rare. From my research the short history of it is that ‘the Pro One GMT released first in black and orange from 2007-2009 and the Cadence LE released in 2009 in a quantity of just 1000. They are extremely rare to come by given the very short production run and in this case fixed number made as well.’ Additional external research links and excerpts are included below.

Shipping by fully insured service at buyers choice and expense.

Forgot to include these to the first post:

Chopard LUC Pro One GMT history:

“Chopard subsequently released a GMT version of this watch, known as the Pro One GMT Cadence. Limited to 1,000 pieces, this collaboration with the Cadence D35 regatta team was one of the first watches with a sapphire-capped bezel insert. The bezel featured deeply engraved luminescent numerals, matching the luminescence of the hands. Blackened hour markers stood in stark contrast to the brilliant white dial. The watch housed the manufacture caliber 96H24, a modified version of the 4.96 with the date relocated to the three-o’clock position and additional 24-hour functionality.
The Pro One GMT was also produced in a non-limited edition with a black dial, orange bezel numerals, orange minute markers, and orange luminescent paint on the GMT hand. Produced only until 2009, the Pro One series offered rugged functionality. These models still remain a phenomenal value proposition on the pre-owned market today.”

“For the Pro One Cadence, not sure if you know how this Limited 1000pcs come about..... anyway just a short note:

A Brief About The L.U.C Pro One Cadence

Cadence is one of the racing teams in the regattas on Lake Geneva for the Decision 35s (D35).

D35 is a 35 feet long (10.81 metres) racing catamaran and built to a standard specification, consisting entirely of cutting edge technological materials enable it to maneuver in demanding sailing conditions with a top speed of 30 knots.

Four years ago, Chopard decided to support Cadence, owned by Jean-François Demole, a friend of Chopard Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.

The crew has performed well and in the first race (on 12 to 13 May 2007) of the 2007 Challenge Julius Baer, the Grand Prix Chopard, Cadence finished fourth. After 10 races (ended in 30 September 2007), Team Cadence grabbed the overall 3rd position (out of 10 extremely competitive teams)!

I have had quite a number of inquiries on this one and to answer a common question regarding trades, I am ideally looking for cash but will consider interesting trades + cash.

Update: the diameter is 42.5mm not 41.

Condition is as stated and to be clear it has been worn up until this post and is now in the safe. The screw bar heads show a little wear, one in particular (see "photo 1"); two of the four drilled lug ends have some small scratches as well (see "photo 2"); where the bracelet meets the case show friction wear when exposed (see "photo 3); otherwise the high polished section have feathering from wear, the bezel is clean, and overall is in excellent condition IMO.

Given the interest the first “I’ll take it” takes it. Given the rarity of this under appreciated piece if you’re interested don’t sit on the fence, this will be the only time you will see this for sale much less for sale in Canada in this condition!

I was just asked if the crown guards were replaceable and like the GO sport evo, Chopard of the similar era meant this to be a real luxury work watch and from my research the crown guards are indeed replaceable!

I was just asked about trades and if you have something around or under the $4k mark I’ll consider it but right now it is really priced for a cash sale.
