Up for sale is a very rare Panerai. A very collectible one.
Very pleased to have owned this reference twice over its 26 years of existence.
There are very few of these if any for sale anywhere in the world and being a Panerai collector I know this is a very desirable and collectible watch.
Also very difficult to find a complete kit anywhere.
The watch shows wear but functions perfectly. The lume is very strong.

I'd like to update this as I was rushed posting yesterday and there is a lot of interest in this piece.

The watch was purchased by me from an extremely reputable dealer as he fulfilled my request for this watch, which came from a very distinguished and long time member of this forum. The condition of this PVD Panerai 04B is excellent. I did my best to show the small deterioration of the PVD, which is by the way normal on this piece. I tried my best to show clearly the the slight wear on the top of the right lug and on the highest use portion of the watch, the locking crown. It locks perfectly and is still very secure. The watch is very accurate, winds smoothly and you will be very hard pressed to find one in this condition. The watch looks to have been serviced as there is also a receipt that accompanies this very rare box and papers kit.
I am fully aware that this piece will most likely be pursued by a Paneristi or someone looking for their second or third Pam but for those looking to make a splash entrance to the world of Panerai, this is it. The 04B L dial which this is had a rumored production run of 1000 pieces but through conversations and a lot of research that number is much lower. The 04 model came in the T dial and L dial and was only made from 1998-1999. My first 04 was a T dial and was sold to a friend of mine in Europe after a lunch date with a very well known Paneristi and several other collectors of the brand. I added to a Panerai thread how happy I was to find this watch again but I think it's time to move on to other vintage Panerai's.
