Been a member since 2020 but only really started posting recently after a long stint of falling out of the watch hobby. This is a great community.
Through a combination of many of my watches suddenly developing ailments, acquiring a smart watch for fitness reasons (Garmin), and busy life stuff, my heart was no longer in it. That’s turning around now though as life seems to be making a bit more room for any hobbies whatsoever (though not much).
I have a pretty bizarre collection, with little apparent cohesion (but it’s there
).
I’m also getting back into making straps - decades of making big virtual things helps one appreciate making small tangible ones…
I have a pretty full watch box currently, but am considering making room for a Type XX Aeronavale or a classic looking Panerai (111 or 510 or similar).
