Hello everyone,
My name is David and I’m from Burlington, ON. Admittedly I’ve been a lurker of this forum for just over a year now but I thought I’d put myself out there to start meeting some likeminded individuals. Outside of this forum, I’m a full-time firefighter by trade and have served the frontlines for just over a decade now.
My interest and admiration for timepieces started early on in life when I saw icons like Roger Federer, David Beckham and even James Bond, in the movie franchise sporting beautiful, classy and elegant timepieces. As a child, I was hooked. I wanted to be just like them lol.
Fast forward to today, that childhood admiration led me to be a collector and eventually jump into the world of watch trading. Although my dreams of becoming James Bond have not yet come to fruition, you never know, maybe one day haha.
All jokes aside, it’s a pleasure and privilege to be a part of this group and I look forward to meeting everyone as time goes on.
