Up for consideration is a LNIB Omega “First Omega in Space” numbered edition, reference 311.32.40.30.01.001
This is NOT a regular production Speedmaster. It is a numbered edition and is based on the legendary Reference 2998, which was worn by Astronaut Wally Schirra into space in October 1962. This watch was purchased from an authorized AD and comes complete with everything that you would expect from an AD purchase. I will itemize this:
- outer box
- inner box
- manual
- warranty card dated November 1, 2012 by the AD
- Watch (see below) and original strap
Additionally, I will include the following extras :
- 1 used after market deployment (Axel Jost) purchased from Freda straps
- 2 barely used alligator straps (Honey and Chocolate Brown)
- 2 unused alligator straps (Black and Black with contrast stitching)
- 1 unused leather strap (honey with contrast stitching)
- Jewelry appraisal documenting the watch should you wish to insure this
The condition of the watch is like-new. The number is 6xx. The only signs of use are from strap changes in-between the lugs.
Asking price is $4,300 Canadian or OBO with shipping and insurance included. I accept wire payment / bank transfer only.
