Hey folks
Up for consideration is likely one of the best releases from Tudor this year.
Every bit the standard BB54, the Lagoon Blue variant is more relaxed, luxurious and essential a more dressed up counterpart.
Tudors intention with this M79000-0001 release was to “evoke somewhere warm, where the sun shines onto waves of azure water and white sand beaches”, and while not wholly apparent, it does seem clearer the close you get to the dial.
The Black Bay 54 follows the traditional styling and size of the original 7922 in its form factor, but that’s essentially where it departs and levels up to a more luxurious experience
This BB54 has got to be one of, if not, my favourite Tudor.
The sizing is ideal for anyone with a sub 7” wrist, male or female and the aesthetic sits somewhere between a BB54, Yachtmaster and OP36.
Ideal for almost any situation, this is realistically the only watch you’d need to own from Tudor.
The watch was sold by me and traded back recently.
Condition is almost as new as before with one minor scratch to the bezel and clasp (both pictured)
The watch runs like it should and carries the balance of the 5 year warranty.
Included is the double box, hang tag, original receipt copy, manuals, bezel protector AND the coffin these are usually shipped in to the AD.
Retail is $5520 plus tax and comparables that are used go around $6800 upward.
I sold this one recently for $6500, I’m asking $6199 shipped from the GTA for this example.
