I just saw the picture of the Christopher Ward special edition Bel Canto for British Watchmakers' Day,... I think it's quite handsome lol. Actually, I really like it.
I actually emailed Christopher Ward, just to confirm whether or not they were bringing any pieces to Toronto that would actually be available for purchase during the Toronto Timepiece Show. They replied and mentioned that it is seemingly likely at this time that they will only be able to take orders, but items will still be shipped from overseas.
really? Apparently we don't have enough watch fenatics in Toronto. I found a whole bunch of global watch shows on google after posting, but I'm new to being a watch fenatic.Welcome to the forum @Glen cook! I haven’t been to a local gig myself, but if you walk through Yorkville you’ll get a view of the good, the bad and the ugly all before lunch![]()
Not only will there only be ten, from what I remember reading the 10 watches for purchase will be allotted to winners of a raffle, to which the tickets as far as I believe will only be sold at the show for British Watchmakers' Day.Its a limited edition of 10, so its the most valuable limited edition.
There was one of 99 pheonix edition, to match the Maclarens, but those aren't shipped yet.View attachment 193119
There were 110 of the one with theblue hands, I an't recall if they shipped.
The file size seems to be too larg to post an image.![]()
Christopher Ward Unveils C1 Bel Canto X Watches@ Limited-Edition Watch | aBlogtoWatch
First released in late 2022, the Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto has already developed a cult following in enthusiast circles thanks to its manufacture-developed passing chime complication at a sub-$4000 price point. Bringing this haute horlogerie element to a far more accessible market segment...www.ablogtowatch.com
I was considering emailing, asking them to bring me a black on bracelet, with red hands to match the beak - so you can actually read the time and there would be some balance.
Can I get the email you used to contact them?
But it would seem to be easier to buy on the secondary market, and get him to bring me hands...that way I could buy one of the limited edition ones...I might likethe green one.
