Up for trade (or sale) is my Grand Seiko SBGK005 that rarely pops up these days in the captivating Mt.Iwate blue dial and is limited to 1,500 pieces.
I can say all sorts of amazing things about this special watch, but Watchfinder did it best:
Condition is amazing. I've turned into the type that does not baby watches and believe they're truly to be worn, but I did take the best care of this one while enjoying it. As with any highly polished watches, there are hairlines you can pick up from the shinning surfaces, and especially with the Zaratsu polishing on this one. There is also a very tiny chip on the edge of the case around 7-8 oclock that I tried to capture but it is really invisible to the naked eye and you can only somehow feel it if you run your nail along.
It's a case with contemporary flairs but at same time, adheres quite strictly to the Grammar of Design GS is known for: wide flat surfaces and two-dimensional curves with distortion free mirror surface.
Watch is dated 2019 and comes with box/ papers + OEM alligator straps that I don't think was actually worn. I know I have not and took out the deployant buckle (some shallow desk diving marks on the metal keeper of the buckle, not the most elegantly fitting buckle to be honest) to fit on the current Delugs straps.
Looking for trade with other neo-vintage, contemporary dress watches in the range of 34-38mm. Trade value is a fair $8,500.
I will also entertain straight sale with the right offer, plus shipping.
Watch is located in Vancouver.
