Selling this beautiful vintage Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7000 from the late 60s to early 70s. This piece was purchased from a Japanese vintage dealer and was originally a commemorative piece, for a railway employee's years of loyal service. So therefore, the unique caseback that differs from a retail 5606 of the period.
Shortly after buying this piece, I purchased a vintage King Seiko 4502 and decided to keep that instead. This was purchased in May 2016 and I've only worn it as a dress watch to one wedding this summer.
I've never opened the watch, which I believe opens uniquely from the crystal rather than a removable caseback. The dial and crystal are very clean for a watch this age. There is some wear of the underside gold plate surface shown in the last photo. Service history is unknown, but the watch is well adjusted.
Includes the original box, papers (Japanese), and original Seiko buckle. I include this newly purchased aftermarket croc grain leather band.
