Hi all,
Many of these have been in my stable for years, but I've moved on to other interests, so they're just taking up space in the drawer now. Someone will hopefully enjoy these as much as I have. All prices are in Canadian funds. EMT preferred, but PayPal is okay if you pay the fees.
Pulsar Y514-6009...Japan made from 1981, if I read the date correctly. Quartz, 39mm case, 19mm lugs. New tropic style strap. Watch has many signs of wear. I'd rate this one in fair condition. Sets and keeps time. Bezel does not turn (seems stuck). Original crystal shattered, so this one is another used replaced, but not OEM...cannot guarantee water resistance. Hands are aftermarket. Dial has aged and shows it. It does have a lot of character. Just the watch, no box or papers.
Yours for 88 dollars. I'll ship it snail mail at that price within Canada.
Next, a 6309-7040 from 1984. I've had this for about 7 or 8 years, if I recall correctly. It was serviced just before I got it, but not recently. Keeps pretty good time on my wrist, within just a few seconds per day. It got a roman date wheel installed, and the only intermittent issue I've had is that Wednesdays, the day doesn't quite make it around as straight as the day, sometimes. Crown screws down properly. Aftermarket bezel, Scubapro dial, and domed anti-glare sapphire crystal (with new gasket at the time). The hands are NOS OEM Seiko. Shows signs of wear, but nothing major. Overall very good to excellent condition, but not near mint. Just the watch, no box or papers.
$360 shipped in Canada.
This SRP777J Turtle comes with box and papers. I did a tasteful low domed sapphire crystal upgrade that works very well with this watch. Chapter ring might be a bit off, depending on the angle you view this at, but it's pretty darn close. I've worn this diving and it does have a few marks on the caseback and bezel edge, as well as the strap keeper. Let's call it very good overall, to excellent. Keeps good time.
$380 shipped in Canada.
Finally, I've had this SMY003 diver for about 10 years, or so. It got a new capacitor a few years ago, and it still holds power for months after a full charge. Considering the model and age of this watch, they're hard to find in this condition nowadays. I'd call this one Excellent overall. Bracelet will fit a large 7 3/4" wrist. Sapphlex crystal is clean. Bezel is 98%. I have the booklet somewhere and if I find it, it'll come with it, but if not, it'll be just the watch and a bonus kinetic watch charger.
Priced at $350 shipped within Canada.
Thanks,
JP
