Up for grabs I have a rarely seen and forum first SBGR325.
It’s easy to get lost in the rabbit hole that is GS models, however this one is unlike most.
When I first saw it, I was reminded of a blue sky with the Sun peeking out behind the clouds.
Little did I realize this model is featured after the sky above Mt Iwate, the location responsible for a number of GS models.
This limited edition model of 1200 pieces was released to commemorate 25 years of the venerable 9S caliber.
The blued seconds hand will be appreciated by the most discerning collector and the gold applied marker adds a touch of complexity to an otherwise crisp, clean dial.
The oscillating weight is rendered in the GS Blue which was achieved through anodic oxidation.
Coming in at 37mm, the watch is suited for wrists up to 7.5” and comes as a full kit in near mint condition.
Retail is $7200, while I’m asking $4888 in the GTA
