SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks,
Up for grabs is a sparkling example of the SMP300 launched to celebrate 60 years of James Bond.
Similar to the standard production SMP, this 42mm example is fashioned in stainless steel but exhibits a blue oxalic anodized aluminium dial, with laser engraved waves, inspired by the OG Seamaster worn by James Bond in 1995’s GoldenEye.
Differing from the standard Seamaster, the lume pip at 60 is replaced by a commemorative “60”
My favourite feature and party trick is the “moire” effect animation on the rear of watch, which features the iconic movie opening sequence, featuring Bond in silhouette and the spinning gun barrel.
The lumed bezel is a welcome upgrade to the ceramic insert we have been accustomed to.
The bracelet on this model is the delectable and coveted mesh similar to the one featured on the No Time to Die special edition, except in steel, elevating the watch from tool to luxury status.
The 8806 cal provides incredible accuracy per master chronometer standards and is the no date version of the 8800 caliber we all have come to love.
The watch itself is in close to mint condition with minor if any micro hairlines on the polished bits.
Coming as a full set with the commemorative box featuring the 3 dots in the franchises opening sequence, it also includes the warranty card, picto and master chronometer card along with manual and pouch
I’m asking a reasonable and fair $9950 shipped from the GTA, the cheapest I’ve seen around thus far.
