The ceramic bezel inlay is a quality and luxurious addition to this reference, compared to previous generations
The polished centre links are a love it or hate it feature for a lot of collectors, however I find it steers the watch deeper into the luxury category rather than the previous generations’ rather tooltastic vibes.
The quick adjust clasp makes on the fly bracelet adjustment a breeze
The crispness of the white dial, with the heat blued markers and handset, make for a very legible read out through the dual sided AR coating.
The yellow embellishment on the seconds hand draws your eyes to the gilt Superocean text on the dial.
The chamfers on the lugs provide a more svelte aesthetic to the case and Breitling clearly has paid attention to the minute details on this timepiece, for the better.
At 42mm in diameter it has a 12.5mm thickness 47.6mm lug to lug not including endlinks (which would otherwise be 50mm) a 22mm lug width and a 300m water resistance rating.
This particular piece has some wear to the caseback, the polished portion of the clasp and a couple links, though nothing outrageous or deep.
Included in the package is the watch, box, extra links and warranty card.
At $7050 retail, it’s a questionable value. At my ask of $$4350 , it presents an excellent value proposition from the previous generation at 38% off
