After that riveting response in the polls and my wife choosing the GO as a keeper, my BP FF is up for grabs.
Rarely am I torn on what watch to keep and which to let go, but here we are and that’s not small feat for the FF.
The characteristics that made this decision rather tough include that intensely blue, blue dial. It cannot but remind you of the deep blue ocean and the lightweight ceramic truly does make it a joy to wear.
It’s a rather masculine piece with all the angles and edges with just a healthy dose of feminine grace when you observe the movement through the caseback.
The bezel action is simply satisfying, not too clicky or dull and the sailcloth strap is by far one of the best, if not THE BEST I’ve encountered, far superior than the Artems, and rightly so.
The whopping 120 hour power reserve is the icing on the cake and there is something to be said about a brand this steeped in heritage.
At 43mm, 5000-0240-O52A, the watch may seem large and heavy but the light weight ceramic case paired with the sailcloth makes it incredibly comfortable.
The watch is in mint condition with the only markings being some slight grime in crevices one cannot reach and a few rub marks on the AR coating.
The watch comes as a full set, with way too many items to list but is as complete as can be and as pictured, special mention to the included warranty card, pelican case and double box.
The lume is impeccable and long lasting, the handset legible at any angle and the watch, ruggedly badass, for lack of a better word.
Had the watch had a bit more polishing and dare I say, curves, it probably would have reached keeper status for me; alas, my loss is your gain and I’m certain the next owner will enjoy the horological heck out of it.
