Hey folks
Up for consideration is one of THE best SMP300 money can buy, the 2500 piece limited edition in 18k Sedna Gold, Titanium and Tantalum Omega Seamaster ref 210.60.42.20.99.001
The watch head and bracelet are in excellent condition, with the clasp showcasing some signs of wear due to desk diving.
This was a Canadian AD purchased timepiece and rarely comes up on the secondary market with comps over 10k and pushing 20k
The watch wears very comfortably on wrist and feels about the same as a Pelagos, just slimmer and more luxurious.
The Sedna gold mid links, bezel insert and handset, pop against the grey tone of the titanium and lavender tone of tantalum.
The base tantalum bezel is by far the easiest turning bezel in the SMP300 series and is a joy to actuate
For those who have not encountered tantalum, it is highly corrosion resistant and retains a bluish gray hue that is easily visible both in pictures and “in the metal”
The bezel insert is done in relief for your tactile benefit.
The titanium dial while retaining the same waves as the rest of the SMP300 series, differs slightly as instead of cutout waves, the wave pattern on this dial is raised, adding further texture and depth to the watch.
The watch runs as expected at +3s a day and amplitude over 340
Currently sized for a 7.5” wrist, there is an extra link in the package, plus the micro adjustments.
I’m asking a fair $9750 plus shipping or f2f in the GTA for this example
