Hey folks
Up for grabs is my Sky-Dweller 326934 featuring the opaline white dial on oyster bracelet.
One of the most complicated watches at this prince point and in terms of a GMT watch, the sky-dweller is essentially your Datejust aesthetic, beefed up.
At 42mm, the watch has a 50.4mm lug to lug and a thickness of 14mm, a relatively svelte measurement given the complication.
As one could probably figure out, the dual timezone display, is both analog and digital, with the second time zone outlined by the off centre 24 hour disc.
The 9001 caliber also boasts the annual calendar feature that will only need to be reset during the February to March transition; the red slot past the hour markers denoting the month, 12 hours/12 months.
The ring command system is a neat and simple Easter egg on these models as it enables interaction between the crown and movement
Pulling the crown out to first position and turning the bezel to the third position engages the time setting feature operated by the crown. Turning the bezel to second position engages the jump hour hand for travel. Engaging the bezel in the first position activates the date and month setting feature.
The watch is in overall very good condition for the age, with only a spattering of hairlines on the common areas of the centre links and case sides, though rather negligible to say the least. There is a small line on the crystal that I noticed on a closeup, and only at certain angles, near the 10-11 position. It can’t be felt with a fingernail, but is worth mentioning.
The watch is a full set including double box, manuals, green hangtags AND an appraisal from Humbertown earlier this year.
Total link count is 12, not counting the end links or links attached to the clasp.
Retail on the watch is $21.100 plus local tax.
I’m asking $21,999 in the GTA, which is under retail regardless of province.
