As of late, I’ve been going through a gold phase and at its rather accessible price point in this market, it is almost a no brainer to buy and keep something of gold that retains more than just horological value.
The warmth of rose gold I find is easily paired with most skin tones and the coupling of a ceramic bezel and a beautifully lush alligator leather strap, elevates this piece to a truly luxurious wearing experience.

Having owned a number of speedies over the years, this particular First Omega in Space reference is part of my top 2 Speedmasters and offers THE most bang for buck, especially with the current pricing of the CK2998’s being around 10-11k
The dial features a familiar Panda layout, but upon closer inspection, you’ll find the stark contrast of the crisp white dial is subdued by the chocolate brown notes of the subdials and minute track.
This Full box set includes warranty cards (not dated, though the numbered edition suggests age between 2018-2020).
The watch runs very well at around -2s a day.
The strap has some minor signs of wear but is the perfect pairing to this warm rose gold piece.
The watch remains in excellent condition and showcases no obvious signs of wear except for a few minor hairlines to the buckle and minor hairlines to the polished bits of the case.
The faux leather on the wallet and interior of box show wear.
The FOIS has long since been discontinued, and while it retailed at a steep $25k ask, you can have it here for a literal bargain at $14,950 shipped
