Up today is my 2016 Planet Ocean ref 232.30.46.21.01.003 in the black colour way with the high legibility markers at 12, 6 and 9.
For those familiar with the Seamaster lineup, you will be hard pressed to find a more robustly built and over engineered timepiece at this price point.
The bezel grip is perfect for bare or gloved hands and the bezel action, crisp.
Rated to 600m water resistance, it will survive depths that humans can’t and the lume show is still a thing come night time.
This model is 45.5mm, has a 51.5mm lug to lug, a 22mm lug width and is pictured on my 7.5” wrist. For perfect sizing, it could use 2 links off, however I haven’t sized it for my wrist.
There are some minor scratches on the bezel, polished bits of the case flank, as well as the clasp and there are a few rough spots where the brushing edge meets the polished edge.
At certain angles you can catch some micro scratches to the AR crystal.
Other than that the watch runs like it’s a week old.
Included are both cards, wallet, manual, double box and the watch.
This pieces runs as it should between +2/+3s a day.
