Up for grabs is a British brand that does not get the love it deserveand draws inspiration for its predominantly COSC certified watches, from aviation.

This model is no different with the easy, legible Bicompax dial layout, the applied markers and it’s quality and attention to detail in the casing.

The polished steel case has undergone a hardening treatment, providing high impact resistance which is indiscernible to the naked eye, while simultaneously providing the watch a toughness resistant to daily wear and high impact, a technique used widely in the aerospace industry.

Powering this 43mm timepiece that wears like a 41mm, is a COSC certified Valjoux based movement which has been nicely finished and while the over $6k + tax entry point is a hefty amount, my ask at $2999 is a far easier pill to swallow

Don’t be shy, try the piece out and if you don’t like, at this price point it’s an easy catch and release. Arguably a better bang for buck getting a complicated Valjoux based watch like this, than a base model ETA tudor or Longines at a similar price point.
