For sale, excellent condition ~1983 (serial 800xxxx) Rolex Datejust 16014 “Buckley” Roman dial. Watch comes with box, papers, and June 2023 service receipt and card from RSC Toronto (with warranty for two years).
Crisp, thick, and even lugs, on this “holes” case, with no dings or dents or significant scratches. Caseback is full and strong, and the 18k white gold bezel is sharp with no major pitting or scratches.
Watch underwent full overhaul at the RSC, including a complete movement service, case and bracelet polish, brand-new crystal, crown, tube and gaskets.
Dial, hands, and date wheel are original to the watch. Dial has the of the majority lume plots intact (RSC shaved them down somewhat to ensure no debris enters the movement), and the hands have nearly perfect, if not flawless, patina.
Bracelet is a “J code” 62510H, dating it to approximately 1985. Bracelet was previously tightened and shows minimal stretch.
