Looking to sell an uncommon ref. 14311 pre-constellation solid 18k gold Omega Chronometre.

More info about this rare reference can be found here:

These don’t come up for sale often and dials are often refinished. The original, two-tone unrefinished dial features crosshairs and applied hour markers.

Heavy solid 18k gold case features unique lugs that appear quite sharp for a 70+ year old watch. Measures just over 35mm not including the crown.

Serial number dates the watch to around 1950.

A cal. 352 chronometer rated automatic movement powers the watch. Service history is not known but manual winding is smooth and the watch is keeping time. I have not checked exact time keeping accuracy.

Omega signed crown, though I’m not sure if it’s original to the watch as the examples shown in the links above have different crowns. An original decagonal Omega crown nonetheless.

Pictured strap included.

Price: $2500 shipped from Vancouver.
