Hello, all,

I'm a longtime, dedicated reader (and fantasizer) living in Hamilton, Ontario. I thought it was about time I donned my big boy pants and started contributing instead of just taking.

I'm omnivorous when it comes to collecting; on any given day I can be seen wearing a Stowa Verus 40, an anOrdain Model 1, a Bulova Lunar Pilot, a Seiko Alpinist SARB017, or my trusty Rolex Explorer 124270. (I'm currently #1 or 2 in line for a Tudor Pelagos FXD in blue).

I look forward to chatting!

Thanks!
As a teen I had a poster on my door that said "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after." I guess I took it to heart. 😉
🤔 I feel like this could be a thread in and of itself: What poster was your fave as a teen? Mine was a white Lambo Countach.

Welcome! 🏎️🏁

I just joined this forum and stumbled on your post as I was looking for any threads about anOrdain - how do you like it? What color did you pick? I’m not sure how long you waited for yours, but I think it’s a few years now.

Hey,

My anOrdain is a bit different from the regular models. It's the Worn and Wound limited edition: the anOrdain Model 1 Precious Metal Series in red gold. You can see it here.

So it's not exaclty what you are waiting for, but I can tell you that it's a beauty. Lovely finishing and exceptional attention to detail--chack out that font and those thremally-treated hands.

If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Cheers!

Also: Welcome!

Oh WOW!.. I’ve never heard of the Precious Metal Series.. You certainly snagged a gorgeous watch, and in the best dial color from that series IMO - glad you’re enjoying it.

Omnivorous you say…. which of your watches would be meat and which would be vegetables?

I’m thinking the blue pelly you’re waiting on is a reverse seared ribeye. Alpinist is a fresh garden salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, and candied nuts.

Not waiting anymore. Picked up the Pelagos almost a year ago.

Haha still figuring out how the threads on this forum work… your post was on my ?front page?, didn’t realize it was from 2024

How are you loving the pelagos?? Any action shots to share?
I love it--couldn't be happier. Not sure I'd call it an "action shot," but you get the idea. . .
