Looking to sell a vintage Hamilton Chronomatic B, first manufactured in 1969 using an automatic micro-rotor cal. 11 movement. Some great info about this iconic watch can be found here:
monochrome-watches.com
The watch keeps time, and the main chrono feature resets to zero. Service history is not known and exact accuracy has not been checked. The hour and minute counters are functional but reset to approximately the 9 o’clock position, which is somewhat odd and perhaps something that was requested by a previous owner?
The tachy ring is loose but it should be an easy fix to have it secured, which could be done when the crystal is replaced as it has some scratches.
The blue dial is in very nice condition. It’s hard to photograph because of the marks on the crystal (for example, the mark above the ‘m’ is on the crystal, not on the dial).
This is very much a wearable example as is, and will clean up nicely with a bit of investment. I highly doubt another example will pop up in this sales section any time soon, if ever.
Priced at $1950 shipped. I will be sending this off to my watchmaker in Europe if it doesn’t sell in the next week or so.
Watch head only. No trades.

The Vintage Corner - The Underrated Hamilton Chrono-Matic Calibre 11
