One of my all time favourite pieces, that I've owned longer than anything else in my collection, is finally up for sale.
Presenting this beautiful 1940s Omega Officer. This model was only made for sale in the Swedish market during WW2.
While most of Europe was at war, the two neutral countries Sweden and Switzerland needed ways to keep some business running. The Swiss needed steel for their products, and Sweden needed various products to keep the economy at some speed. The Omega Officer (defense forces) and the Omega Suverän models were apparently made for this trade.

This watch had the movement completely overhauled In January of 2017 and is running perfectly, keeping fantastic time, and winding smoother than you would believe possible from a watch of this period.

Movement: Caliber 26,5 T3 PC (i believe)

Dial: Untouched, original dial with a sub seconds dial, and minute markers. Exceptionally clean and consistent wear across the dial.

Hands: Orignal (unrestored).

Crystal: Great condition.

Crown: Correct style unsigned.

Bracelet: Period correct, pairs fantastic with this watch and will fit a little over 7"
