Hey everyone, up for sale today is my Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV AKA “Kermit”
The watch is a “V” serial number denoting production in 2008/2009, very close to the last run of the model. The watch was originally purchased in Ontario in 2011. I assume in those days, ADs had piles of sports models available, this one spent the first 2 years of life in the Ad safe.
The watch came to me in 2019, I sold it to a collector friend who put it in the safe and did not wear it.. so another 3 years untouched. So ideally, this watch has spent half its life in a safe minimum, that I know of.. lol
The condition of the watch itself is excellent. There is a small mark at the case lower edge around 7:00, the bezel has two small scratches just left of the pip and near the bottom of the 5 in 50. The bracelet is clean and contains 11 links. The clasp looks great and snaps closed.
The inside of the lugs are clean with no visible strap change marks.
The sale will include, the outer white sleeve, white box, green box, warranty and user booklets and hangtags..
The Kermit has proven itself to appreciate at a rate much faster than its black bezel model or even period GMT…. Here is an opportunity to pick up a piece that will truly enhance your collection and add value.
