Hello CWC, for sale is my year 2000 P serial Rolex Sea Dweller ref. 16600.
Watch is in great used condition. Dose NOT have the original box or papers. However, it dose come with purchase receipt and in store warranty from Van Rijk in Toronto (September 2016), also an appraisal from Montecristo (a Rolex AD in Vancouver) dated October 2016. Both documents will be included with the watch.
All parts are original to the watch, P serial case dates the watch case to 2000 and DE date code on the bracelet daters the bracelet to approximately 2001(witch is correct for the year of the watch)
Bezel action is nice and crispy, watch winds smooth. It’s keeping excellent time, somewhere between -1 to +2 seconds a day. Dive extension work perfectly and locks in securely. This watch comes with solid end links and holes case, both very desirable features.
Condition is great, no heavy dents or scratches, it was a daily watch for the last owner, so please expect desk dive marks, hairlines and swirls. Case is in great shape, sharp, even and thick lugs. Please check pictures thoroughly.
At 40mm, this watch wears perfectly on almost any wrists, just slightly thicker than the normal 16610 submariners. This is a true tool watch from Rolex and the extra weight will make you feel that you’re something special. Plus, it’s 4000ft water resistance!
Asking $12500, great value when compared to the 16610 submariners.
