im offering up a K serial 2002 Rolex explorer II reference 16570 with the coveted white dial.
This watch is in lovely, thick and sharp condition with no major damage and only minor wear marks.
The watch comes as a set with inner and outer box, and warranty papers dated june 2002 stamped "chow sang sang jewellery Co LTD" - still a current Rolex retailer in HongKong.
The inner box i am not certain if 100 percent correct to the watch - however it presents very well.
All 4 lugs are free of flea bites and only show minor wear marks. All nice and thick and incredibly sharp.
Lug 2 at 1 oclock being the worst with a minor surface mark.
The bezel is free of any bites or nicks and only shows some minor surface marks as well.
The bracelet section above 12 oclock shows wear marks like you would expect.
The bracelet section under 6 oclock is impressively clean, with very minor wear marks.
The bracelet has 11 links in total with 3 removeable. 2 currently not fixed to the bracelet.
The clasp code is DT1 indicating that it was born with this watch.
both high polish sides show surface marks only.
Bracelet stretch is quite minor
Holes case with SEL ( Solid end links )
Service history is somewhat unknown. It will come with a service invoice from rolex dated 2016 with this watchs serial number on it, however i have no service card to go with it. The watch is currently running very well and operates/functions as it should. Flips through each day with no sticking of the date-wheel etc.
It does wind slightly stiffer than i would like - i would say a service in the future will be needed but not immedietly - i will leave that up to the new owner. as of now it operates well, if i can get to a vibragraph machine i will have it tested pre sale.
