Hi all,
I've scratched an itch and now have a Rolex 216570 inbound. Therefore I'm reluctantly letting go of my recently acquired PO 8500, which I purchased from a fellow CWC member. This was a grail watch for me but I’m not quite ballin’ enough to keep both pieces without feeling guilty about having that much cash tied up on my winder. Not yet anyways lol…
42MM orange-bezel version on stainless steel bracelet – hard to come by when you’re actually looking for the 42MM piece and all that ever comes up are the XL versions. Complete kit of course, purchased at AD in March 2013 – lots of warranty remaining.
The condition of the watch is excellent, but not perfect. I always make it a point of full disclosure of all flaws in my FS ads, as I expect the same when shopping for a piece;
- Clasp has desk diving marks on it (bracelet is in excellent condition though)
- Two very small marks on the polished sections of the case upon nose-length inspection, unnoticeable from 12” away and would only be seen by up close inspection looking for flaws
- Faint hairlines in one spot on the AR coating, as can happen with these; thankfully very faint and not visible unless playing with angles and lighting sources trying to spot it. The last photo on Flickr captured it, lower
right quadrant of crystal
Let the photos speak for themselves, all taken today September 1 2015; be sure to drill down on the photos for full size hi-res versions: https://www.flickr.com/photos/129251038@N07/albums/72157658066724685
Priced for a quick sale @ $3500. Cheapest 8500 that I know of anywhere; you will be very happy with this watch, especially at this price. If you’ve been looking for an orange 8500 but holding out for a great condition yet well-priced example (as I was), you just found your watch.
Prefer FTF in the GTA but will ship fully insured via Parcel Pro anywhere in Canada at buyers cost (around $60). CWC references available.
