Folks if you've been looking for a beautiful example of a full kit 2004 Explorer 114270 36mm watch, it will be difficult to find a more complete example. I bought this watch a few months ago from the original local first owner.
-Original purchase receipt, full outer and inner box from 2004. F serial and correct bracelet.
-Full papers including a service receipt from Rolex back in 2009.
-Bezel protector
After buying this watch I sent it to my own watch maker and had it serviced (2 weeks ago). OE main spring, gaskets and full cleaning. Lots of pictures of the progress.
This watch may have been lightly polished by Rolex back in 2009 but remains crisp and mint. Mild swirls that I've tried catching in the light but the watch looks mint on wrist. Light abrasions on the clasp but remarkably clean. No marks on the lugs. No dings.
Can't get more complete than this.
I'm tightening up my collection so this one is looking for an enthusiasts to give it a good home.
Looking to recoup my purchase price and service costs. Asking $9200 in the GTA.
