A real beauty! This 1921 or 1922 E. Howard pocketwatch is in excellent condition. Used, but never abused. And, it still winds and keeps great time.

This watch represents an end to an era. By 1930, E. Howard Co. was gone. It has kind of an art deco look to it. Very different from the traditional or railroad models. The case is all solid 14k white gold, and I suspect the dial is as well, but I cannot be certain. The crystal is plastic.

The watch measures 44m.

My research shows that that movement was patented in 1921, and based on the serial number, it was produced late that year, or early the next. The star in the middle of the circle in the arrow at the bottom of the movement indicates that this model is the more expensive 21 jewel issue.

The watch weighs 56 grams. I am not sure how much it weighs minus the movement.

Asking a nice and easy $600. Buy it and put it away!

Please email me with any questions.
