For sale is the highly collectable Seiko “Samurai”, SBDA001. Also called the ‘air diver’, this watch is an all-titanium black faced 42 mm diver and is very light and comfortable for a watch this size. The term ‘samurai ‘was used to describe the distinctive sword-like hands of the watch. The samurai were a short-lived breed and were only produced from 2004-2008 and they no longer commonly appear on sales forums, especially in this good of condition and with a full kit. The watch is powered by a 7S25 movement

The watch has been worn only sporadically by me over the past 3 years and always on the black 3-ring zulu pictured. The hardlex crystal is completely intact and free of scratches, and the bezel only has minor rub marks that do not cut through the paint. There are no major dings or flea bites on the watch, although there is a small scratch on the side of the case, north of the crown. The bezel clicks crisply throughout rotation and bites well ensure unidirectional movement. The original ‘fat’ springbars have lots of spring left and are straight. The bracelet shows minor signs of wear that could be easily rubbed out.

As shown in pictures, the watch comes with full kit including original box, papers, manual and extra links.

Asking $575 shipped.
