Dating from 1973, this rare speedtimer is in excellent condition! Serviced last week, it is the perfect time piece to get you off into the summer!!
Case: 39mm, unpolished and untouched, it has few scuff marks but no dents or dings! Bezel is in great shape! Original crown and pushers! Case back is original! The case, like the SS bracelet still has the original grain brushed looks from the factory minus small scuff for aging and wear!
Bracelet: Original Seiko 5 SS bracelet with ALL its links.. yes I repeat ALL IT LINKS! Will fit a 7,75" without issues! The bands is in superb condition with no dents, clasp is intact and solide and I would say that it has little to no stretch in the bracelet! The bracelet still has its original brushed texture from the factory!
Dial: Incredible MINT condition sunburst gray/blue dial that will definitely get heads turned! Seiko 5 logo in white, speedtimer and subdial are a darker green. Minutes and Hour hands are in immaculate shape with matching lume! Yellow swep is hands is lightly faded and subdial hand is white, both in superb conditon! This dial is basically like new!
Movement: 6139b serviced two weeks ago (February 2018) keeps sharp time! Chrono functions are crips and working accordingly! Pushers are firms, reset hands to 0 on the dot! kanji day and date wheels are working eithout issues, you just need to push the crown inward.
Crystal: new genuine seiko crystal scratchless!
All in all this is in excellent condition for its age!
I don't recommend submerging the watch as it wasn't tested for water!!
