For Sale is my Grand Seiko SBGV238 I bought brand new from a US authorized dealer in July 2018.
It is a 25th anniversary limited edition of the 9F quartz movement (#515 of 600). Which is pretty rare.
More official info and specs can be found here: https://www.grand-seiko.com/uk-en/collections/sbgv238g
Special 9F quartz (gold star on dial) with accuracy of +- 5 seconds per year. These special 9F quartz are not common, maybe a dozen models released in Grand Seiko's history. I never noticed any deviation.
Stainless steel with 18k gold bezel. 44GS style case.
Size: 40mm, thickness of 10mm (very slim and comfortable)
Bracelet was never removed from the watch since new.
Condition is very good, in my opinion, with some light wear marks on the bracelet you can see under certain light angles.
When taking the pictures, I was trying hard to show any marks I could find, because I don't want you to get a surprise. I am not good to take these kind of pictures.
It's not a watch a wear a lot, and this is why it's up for sale. Hoping it can be enjoyed even more by someone else. It's a special watch.
Included: extra bracelet links, box, papers, "full kit".
MSRP at release for this watch was ~6650 CAD
I'm putting it up for sale for 4000 $ CAD + shipping.
I am not really interested in a Trade.
Watch is located on the north shore of Montreal.
I've sold a couple (3-4) "2000-8000" watches on this forum in the last few years (3 or 4) and did a trade once, and all my experiences have been positive and smooth.
I took these pictures Today on 2024-01-27. Watch will not be worn for the time it's posted for sale.
Thank you for looking, don't hesitate to contact me for questions or interest
