Hey everyone,
Testing waters on my Orient Mako XL with the beautiful orange bezel. I've affectionately called this my "Planet Orient" in reference to the iconic Planet Ocean Omega Seamasters. Certainly looks the part from a distance. This is my daily wear watch so there are a couple of small nicks on the case, but overall it's in great condition.
The crystal is a CrystalTimes Double Domed AR Coated Sapphire crystal which I installed recently and it's Prestine. Not a mark on it, and the way it catches the light is absolutely stunning. The blue AR coating really gets noticed. This watch by far seems to get the most attention when I'm out and about.
Comes with original Orient box and manual, the original metal braclet which could use a polish. Also including the pictured black silicone sport strap with orange contrast stitch and quick release pins (I love this combination). And lastly I will throw in a Crown & Buckle all black NATO strap as well.
This uses an Orient in house automatic movement which is not Hackable or handwindable. A quick few flicks of the wrist and it's up and going.
I am a fan of Seiko divers and have had my eye on some Turtles and Samurais. Not actively looking to sell as I really love this thing to death, but you know watch guys, always open to changing things up.
Asking $225. Can meet F2F in Georgetown, Mississauga on weekends or Etobicoke weekday evenings.
