Hello,
This planet Ocean fan favorite is the model worn by Daniel Craig in Quantan of Solice.
Very hard to let go but I have a 40mm Sea-Dweller.
Fully serviced in 2021. Barely worn since. I purchased it two years from a very reputable seller. Runs perfect. Crown is buttery smooth to wind. Looks amazing...
Wears close to a 40mm because the bezel is 39.8mm in diameter and there are no big crown guards. Lots of wrist presence and more versatile than it's 45mm sibling.
Comes on the Omega integrated rubber strap which tapers from 20mm to 18mm on the Omega deployant buckle. Very solid yet soft on the wrist.
Here is the description from the Omega website:
"It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. The stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage. This model, with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a black dial and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case on a stainless steel bracelet. The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is water resistant to 600 metres / 2000 feet / 60 bar, and has a helium-escape valve. The Co-Axial calibre 2500 is at the heart of this certified chronometer."
My watchmaker at Bob Thompson Jewellers, which was an A.D. for a very long time, pointed out that all 2500 mvts regardless of their generation receive the latest upgraded parts when serviced by Omega and they are as robust and durable as you'd expect. Good to know. This one is a 2500 "C" mvt, as shown on the service invoice by Omega.
Online reviews of this watch are glowing.
Asking $4900 plus shipping. Located in the Ottawa area.
Well below Chrono24.ca listings, even on a strap.
I will be listing shortly on other forums so if you've been wanting one of these now is the time.
Thank you for looking.
