New member from Montreal!

I was invited to join this forum by no other than Mr TimeCaptain himself. I've been collecting for quite some time but only got active in some FB groups in the past 3 years or so.

I like to collect a bit of everything, but I'm really interested in movements and their technologies. I had the pleasure to own stuff like tuning fork watches, spring drive, quartz (and HAQs), mechanical, etc.

Here's a cool one for y'all, my Omega Constellation Chronograph 1542.40.00 from 1995, the only MecaQuartz Omega ever made! This watch features the Frédéric Piguet caliber 1270, arguably the best MecaQuartz movement ever made (especially its 1271 sibling with a rattrapante complication)! One neat thing about this movement is that the chronograph's seconds hand tics 16 times per sec, giving it a Spring Drive looks!

Cheers 🍻
