Hello,
For sale is a relatively rare IWC 3506 Ingenieur.
- This watch has the most desirable grey dial with blue graph lines, making it look like “engineers drafting paper”.
- The dial, hands are all original to the watch with tritium lume and the case looks to be thick, I don’t see much signs of polishing. There are some age spots on the dial equally distributed.
- I have owned this watch for about 6 years and got it from the original owner. He provided a paper with it which aligns well with the date of when the watch would have been sold, but other than IWC written on the receipt, it’s hard to link them together.
- Full bracelet size and links.
- The caliber 3753 comes with a 21 carat gold rotor!
- You might note the watch back serial and movement serial are not the same, this was common for this model, if you look up other pictures from many other 3506 models you will observe this as well.
- It’s in great shape for the age, wears much larger than the 34mm size suggests, it’s extremely comfortable and dresses well with all occasions!
- Was recently sent to IWC for a service quote to validate the authenticity, they recommended a service but wanted to replace the hands and dial so I refused.
- I have tried to get some good closeups of the watch, but if you need any more photos please let me know.
- If you are looking up pricing, refer to the 3505 and 3506. However, the 3506 is a rarer variation and usually came in the 24ct gold rotor.
Any questions please ask!
