Hello From Calgary

Hello,

Thanks for letting me join. Though my journey with watches has been long, it feels like I'm just getting started. When I met my wife, she was swapping batteries at the Eaton's watch counter. When I dipped my toe back into G-Shocks 20 years ago, I ordered my first JDM watch from SeiyaJapan (and wondered at the prices of Seiko watches). Now exploring the world of mechanical watches (and quartz too). Met some exceptional gentlemen at a recent Calgary RedBar who introduced me to the forum. Have been enjoying seeing all the watches in the various forums.

Currently wearing a Seiko 5 (SRPG41K1). I enjoy this watch, and have learned a lot about what I'd like in the future from it. Pictured here with a beaver leather strap but the original buckle.
