Up for sale is my 2020 Grand Seiko SBGM239 GMT. It’s part of GS’ Elegance collection, a US boutique-only piece, created in collaboration with Hodinkee, limited to 500 pieces, and comes as a full kit. While there are minor signs of wear to the high-polished areas and some of the links, this watch is in excellent condition!
The dial is the star of the show, featuring a twilight blue that is rich, refined, and switches shades with shadows and in different light. It can go from a matte indigo to a bright cobalt blue to almost black in the blink of an eye. A muted shade of grey is used for all aspects of the dial that relate to the GMT functionality; it’s a perfect match to the indigo backdrop.
