I hate to do this but i recently acquired a blue SMP 300 Ceramic plus i got my other 2 divers (Turtle & SKX) and this one has to go. Your chance to pick this beauty up for grabs. Ginault is a microbrand that started in California and ever since they were the most debatable microbrand in the past 2 years. No microbrand ever did what Ginault attempted and that is to make a high quality homage to the Rolex Submariner Preceramic. But here is the catch its not just a normal Preceramic but a mixture of the best from Rolex. Taking inspiration from several Rolex sports models: second hand is inspired by Rolex Yachmaster giving it a nice pop of color, instead of Mercedes hands this one has Mil-Sub hands which are very rare on Rolexes and expensive (100k-200k John Mayer has one), bubble back case back inspired by Sea-Dweller, a pre-ceramic 16610 case, glide-lock clasp from the new Sub. Everything on this watch is finished way above 1k price point and rivals easily Longines HydroConquest, Oris 65 and is if not a better watch in terms of build quality and finish. Mirror like polishing/brushing you would see on +2k watches. The bracelet is superb and feels like a real Rolex Oyster bracelet. It has polished sides and brushed top plus bevelled edges on sides so its very well rounded off due to precision for comfort. Ive included closeup pictures of the bracelet links to see how highly finished it really is. Case has polished sides, brushed top with bevelled edges. Bezel is aluminium and is spot on in precision 120 clicks. Crisp and sharp lines on the case no dull edges like on some homages this is the real deal. Feels very nice and no play whatsoever. Dial is black enamel so it looks very nice in certain light. Forged indecies and hands, BGW9 blue lume, domed saphire, 300m WR ISO 6425 certified, screwdown crown with beautifully applied Ginault flower logo on it, solid endlinks and bracelet links with screws so changing links is easy and secure. Watch comes with everything and more. Ginault microfiber cleaning cloth, warranty, chronometer certification by Ginault so this watch runs within COSC parameters. Extra link, extra brand new never used bezel and second hand and a screwdriver for sizing the bracelet. Watch is in 97% shape. Basically mint with few to almost no scuffs. I dont have the zulu 2 piece nato strap but i will glady include a bond nato with it.
Parameters: 40mm case size, 13mm thick but the bubble back case back sinks in on the skin so it feels more like 12mm/12.5mm 47.5mm lug to lug bracelet is 20mm tapering down to 16mm.
