I'm clearing out a pair of watches that have been sitting around for one reason or another. I'd like to sell or trade them off as a pair.
First is an Evant Tropic 300 Matte that was purchased from Gnomon in Feb. 2017. It has some marks on the underside of the lugs due to strap changes and the bezel marker at the 6 seems to be missing a tiny bit of lume. All which can be seen in the pics. It comes with box, cards and 3 OEM Evant straps. The dark blue strap has some damage on the lug end which again can be seen in the pics. The ETA 2824-2 Elabore movement keeps excellent time with plenty of power reserve.
I'm letting this one go as it just doesn't suit me the way I had hoped.
Second is a Hamilton Khaki Field 40mm that comes with boxes (the inner box flap has some damage) and manual but no warranty card. If I had to guess, this was a grey market purchase. This watch does have some issues. The date wheel isn't perfectly centered and the movement will only keep about 8 hours of power reserve so it will require a service. That being said, the rotor winds well and the watch keeps excellent time while being worn. It's only when it's taken off and left for about 8 hours or more. It comes on an OEM leather strap that has a well worn look but it has plenty of life left. The case is in excellent shape.
I'd send it in for service myself as I really like the look but it's just a touch too small for my liking.
I'm asking $565 for the pair with payment via EMT and includes shipping to anywhere in Canada. PAYPAL is alright as well but add 4%. A local face to face deal in the west end of the Greater Toronto Area is more than welcome.
As for trades I'm most interested in 40mm+ divers and am looking to trade both for one watch. My trade value is slightly higher.
A few that I'm interested in are;
Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT - strong preference towards a coke bezel but pepsi and black are ok too.
Certina DS Action Diver - SS or Ti
Hamilton Frogman SS - new model either black or blue dial/bezel and preference towards the rubber strap model but bracelet is ok too.
Hamilton Pan Europ 3 hander - any dial model
