OK, I'm probably going to kick myself for doing this but alas I need a new deck more than I need the rolex right now.

I have for sale a Rolex 14060 Submariner (No Date) E Serial dating to 1991.

It's in great condition and I love the watch but there's always more watches to be had down the road.

I bought the watch without boxes / papers but did pick up a box / hang tag / etc.. after the fact that is not original to the watch itself.

Watch runs great with zero issues and is in good condition with a really nice patina on the hour markers.

I'm far from a watch expert so have no idea what % to grade it as but the watch has no major marks or flaws and runs great. I would prefer a face to face deal in S/W Ontario so the buyer can inspect and make sure the condition is to their satisfaction.

I would possibly be interested in a trade for a lower value dive watch + cash to me. Something along the lines of a Steinhart Ocean 1 Black? Don't be shy with trade offers. You never know what might catch my eye. I am not interested in a straight trade however as I do need to free up some cash.

$4500

OK so there has been a lot of interest and I've got messages going back with a few members trying to come to an agreed price & meeting place to make a sale.

I did just want to take a minute though and say that until I have an agreed on price and meeting time / place with somebody arranged I don't consider the watch sold / on hold.

As soon as I have an agreed on price and meeting time / place then the watch can be considered on hold for you.

A message saying "looks good I'll take it when can we meet" I don't consider a done deal until we arrange an actual meeting place / time.

Sorry perhaps it's the fact that I've been burned by over eager purchasers too many times in the past why say they'll take it and then back out but that's the way it is and sorry if it sounds like I'm coming off like a horrible person.

*** Start of edit:

So apparently my way of doing things doesn't sit well with some people. Having sold enough things on forums (and others) we all know that 99% of the time that even when somebody says they want something and you agree on a price one of several things happens:

a) The person just stops responding even though they said they wanted your item
b) They send you a message at the last minute saying "sorry an emergency came up"
c) They don't show at the scheduled meeting time

Having said that this is why I insist on the following two things before I'll hold the watch for anybody:

a) We have an agreed on price
b) We have an agreed on meeting time & place

Once we have those two things in place then I'm more than happy to hold onto the watch for you and I can guarantee you that I will be delivering a watch exactly as described and I'll be where we agreed to meet at the agreed on time.

This is not me trying to be difficult. This is just me understanding that in todays world we're all busy and I don't want to waste your time and also don't like people wasting mine.

** Having said all this the watch is currently on hold pending a 2PM in face deal tomorrow afternoon. **

If that deal falls through I will update accordingly.
