For sale is my Rolex 1603, serviced recently by Independant Jewelers who are an authorized Rolex service centre. I believe this watch to be in very good overall condition, previous service was in 1995 (paperwork included), and around that time the previous owner had them change the dial from black to silver. Serial number dates this watch to around 1966 from what i can find. Original paperwork is not available. The last full service which was in March of this year included a new crown and tube, crystal and I believe a few parts inside changed... i requested at the service that only a VERY LIGHT polish be done. Currently the watch is running -5 sec / 24 hrs when put flat overnight.
Watch comes with what you see in the photos, so that is: box, papers from last service in 1995, papers for dial change, warranty card and book from this most recent service, 78360 bracelet fitted with brand new 558 end links, a pair of 580 end links and the original jubilee bracelet. The original jubilee bracelet is not in my possession at this time, i sent it to Michael Young 2 months ago and should be ready soon. The picture of the jubilee bracelet was taken before i sent it off for refurbishment. I will either forward the jubilee bracelet to buyer when i get it back, or request Michael Young to send it directly to buyer.
Of note is the 78360 bracelet, which i believe to have a few screws that are replacements (not sure which ones to be honest) and the springbar in the clasp i also believe is a replacement... i have tried to source some of these pieces on these forums without success... no extra links included with the 78360 bracelet, currently is fitted for my 7" wrist and is nice and loose with one spot remaining to make it bigger on the clasp. I purchased this bracelet from a member on Timezone as i prefer the oyster bracelet to the jubilee one.
Price for everything 2800$ shipped / paypaled.
I think this is a very fair price considering you will receive a fully original watch, serviced, with an oyster bracelet that goes for around 600$ and will receive a fully refurbished original to this watch jubilee bracelet. Only selling because of a new acquisition... If you dont want one of the two bracelets we can work out a price for the bracelet you do want to keep.
Sorry but not looking for any trades.
