Up for sale is this supremely underrated and perfectly proportioned Omega Seamaster 300 (Mid-Size) dating to June 2001. This particular example is running well (details below) and comes with original bracelet with all links. Condition is very good - some desk diving scuffs on the clasp but otherwise the bracelet and case are in fabulous condition for a watch of this age. Aluminum bezel has some small marks but nothing glaring at all - overall I'd say the condition of this watch is 8.5/10.
Service history is unknown but my best guess is that it was very lightly polished at its last service, but it maintains its chamfers and beveled edges just like it would if it was unpolished. Lume is excellent as well!
Pricing this to sell at $2,750 OBO. F2F in Toronto or I will ship anywhere in Canada for free (my cost). You will find comps on Chrono24 around this price but those prices do not include the $300ish in duties that you'll have to pay. And also very hard to find one in comparable condition.
Not looking to trade unless by some miracle you have a Tudor Submariner 75090 on the original oyster-style bracelet, in which case I'd throw in cash.
Specifications:
Reference: 2252.50
Movement: Automatic, Omega Cal. 1120 (self-winding chronometer with rhodium-plated finish). 44 hr. power reserve.
Case: Stainless Steel
Case size: 36.25 mm x 43 mm. 11.5mm thickness. 18mm lug width.
Dial: signature Omega Black Wave Dial
Bracelet: Stainless Steel
Clasp: Push Button Deployment Clasp, with diver's extension
Crystal: Sapphire
Matching date window at 3'oclock.
Accuracy - movement is Chronometer spec but this one hasn't been serviced in a while. It's ticking away at around -15 s/d, with a healthy 0.0ms beat error and a 175degree amplitude indicating it could use a service. Beat rate 28,8000. See Timegrapher photos below.
Inclusions: Comes with original Omega warranty card plus Omega travel pouch. No box included. I will throw in an extra Bond Nato which suits the watch perfectly.
Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
